Porapak Q是一种基于苯乙烯与二乙烯基苯共聚而成的多孔聚合物固定相，是气相色谱分析中应用极为广泛的填充柱固定相之一。
在化学性质上，它呈弱极性，具有很强的疏水性，这使得水分子在柱上的保留很弱，会先于许多低沸点溶剂流出。由于是聚合物基体，它没有常见的“固定液流失”问题，背景噪声低，化学性质稳定。
要用于气体、低碳数有机物、酸、胺及水中有机物的分析，在石化和环境领域有广泛使用：
石化与气体分析：在乙烯、丙烯生产装置中用于分析微量CO、CO₂、C3以下不凝气等；也用于测定燃料乙醇中的水分，以及沼气中的甲烷。
工业应用：可用于环氧乙烷/乙二醇（EO/EG）循环气分析、丙酮产品中杂质分析等

Porapak Q is a porous polymer stationary phase formed through copolymerization of styrene and divinylbenzene, and is one of the most widely used packed column stationary phases in gas chromatography analysis.
In terms of chemical properties, it exhibits weak polarity and strong hydrophobicity, which results in weak retention of water molecules on the column, allowing them to elute before many low-boiling solvents. Due to its polymer matrix, it does not suffer from the common issue of "stationary phase loss", resulting in low background noise and stable chemical properties.
It is used for the analysis of gases, low-carbon organic compounds, acids, amines, and organic compounds in water, and is widely applied in the petrochemical and environmental fields
Petrochemical and gas analysis: Used in ethylene and propylene production plants to analyze trace amounts of CO, CO₂, and non-condensable gases below C3; also used to determine the moisture content in fuel ethanol and the methane content in biogas.
