TDX-01 is a carbon molecular sieve based chromatographic stationary phase filler widely used in gas chromatography and certain special liquid chromatography applications. It belongs to a type of porous polymer ball.
Main features and advantages
Strong hydrophobicity (hydrophobicity): Due to its carbonaceous surface, it has weak affinity for polar molecules such as water and alcohols, making it particularly suitable for analyzing trace amounts of water in aqueous samples or gases. The water peak will quickly flow out, and the peak shape is sharp without tailing.
High thermal stability: Compared to common GDX series polymer fillers (such as GDX-101102), TDX-01 has undergone carbonization treatment, resulting in higher thermal and chemical stability and longer service life.
Special separation mechanism: Separation is mainly based on the molecular size and shape of the analyte (spatial exclusion effect), followed by volatility. It has excellent separation ability for permanent gases (such as O ₂, N ₂, CO, CH ₄, CO ₂) and low molecular weight hydrocarbons (C1 to C3).
