1. Analysis of permanent gases and light hydrocarbon gases
This is the most classic and widely used application of Hayesep T. It can effectively separate substances that are in a gaseous state at room temperature and pressure.
Analects:
Permanent gases: oxygen (O ₂), nitrogen (N ₂), methane (CH ₄), carbon monoxide (CO)
Light hydrocarbons: C1 to C3 hydrocarbons (methane, ethane, ethylene, acetylene, propane, propylene, etc.)
Application Scenario:
Refinery gas analysis: monitoring the gas composition in petrochemical processes.
Natural gas analysis: determining the calorific value and composition of natural gas.

Note: In order to completely separate Ar and O ₂ (which co flow out on Hayesep T), a multi column valve switching system is usually used to connect Hayesep T with a molecular sieve column. Molecular sieve columns can perfectly separate Ar and O ₂.
2. Analysis of Fluorinated Compounds (Freon) and Halogenated Hydrocarbons
Hayesep T has good separation efficiency and inert surface for this type of compound, and can obtain symmetrical peak shapes.

Thanks to its strong hydrophobicity, Hayesep T is an ideal choice for analyzing trace amounts of moisture in samples.
Characteristics: The water peak appears early, the peak shape is sharp, there is no tailing, it will not adsorb on the column, and it does not interfere with subsequent analysis.
Application Scenario:
Determination of moisture content in organic solvents such as ethanol, acetone, THF.
Monitoring of moisture in polymerization monomers.
Dew point analysis in gas samples (converted by moisture content).
4. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and solvent residues
Hayesep T can analyze various volatile organic compounds.
