一氧化碳(CO)是空气中一种无机化合物。在通常状况下,一氧化碳是无色、无臭、无味、难溶于水的气体，熔点-199℃，沸点-191.5℃。标准状况下气体密度为l.25g/L,和空气密度(标准状况下1.293g/L相差很小,这也是容易发生煤气中毒的因素之一。它为中性气体。
