5A分子筛可吸附小于该孔径的任何分子，一般称为钙分子筛。它除具有3A，4A分子筛所具有的功效外，还可吸附C3—C4正构烷烃，氯乙烷，溴乙烷，丁醇等，可应用于正异构烃分离、变压吸附分离及水和二氧化碳的共吸附。
主要用途
这种筛用分子水平下的物质吸收。它可以吸附多达自己体重的22%的水。其吸附原理与色谱法相似，只是没有改变物质的分子组合。
1、天然气干燥、脱硫、脱二氧化碳；
2、氮氧分离、氮氢分离，制取氧、氮和氢；
3、石油脱腊、从支烃、环烃中分离正构烃。

In addition to the functions of 3A and 4A molecular sieves, it can also adsorb C3-C4 n-alkanes, chloroethane, bromoethane, butanol, etc. It can be used for the separation of isomers, pressure swing adsorption separation, and co adsorption of water and carbon dioxide.
